Pool customers watch the chemical line closely. Make it transparent and the rest of the invoice is easy.

Why itemize chemicals?

Chemical cost swings with weather and use. Showing what was added and why explains the variation instead of leaving the customer guessing.

Why separate repair from routine service?

A routine visit is a known price. Repairs are exceptions and should look like exceptions, with their own labor and parts.

Why note readings on file?

It signals a record exists. If a customer disputes green water, the log settles it.

Pool work is licensed as a contractor trade in some states and not at all in others; safety codes apply everywhere.
